Benjamin & Edward Clark Military Inspired Automaton Pair-cased Watch, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, c. 1790-1810, arabic numeral porcelain dial with hand-painted center depicting British soldiers at the foot of the fort, and doorway aperture with rotating image of a marching soldier, engraved fusee movement reading "B & E Clark Philadelphia/1055," with pierced balance cock and slow/fast regulator, and five 19th century watch papers, all housed in a sterling silver case with English hallmarks, dia. 58 mm.
