Earnshaw Mahogany Long Case Clock, London, pediment top over the roman numeral square brass dial with pierced blued hands, calendar aperture and seconds bit, canted stop-fluted brass columns flanking the full-length waist door, terminating in a stepped molded base, eight-day time and hour-strike movement, regulated by a wooden rod pendulum and two brass-cased weights, ht. 84 1/2 in. Estimate $1,000-1,500 12-in. section of waist door molding off but present. Small traces of silvering on dial and date wheel still visible.
