Elaborately Inlaid Mahogany Quarter-chiming "Hall" Clock, England, c. 1900, two delicately carved urn finials top the fully inlaid hood with square reeded columns flanking the 14-in. composite brass dial with moon's phase in arch, engraved center, applied cast brass spandrels, three inlaid shells above the serpentine waist door, all resting on ogee bracket feet, eight-day, three-train movement on eight bells and single hour gong, regulated by a brass-faced pendulum and three brass-cased weights, ht. 94 1/2 in. Estimate $2,000-3,000 Overall very nice condition, refinished case, with some veneer lifting, small inlay missing on hood side, movement complete but recommend a cleaning and service.
