Young & Sons Surveyor's Transit, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, no. 6396, 10-in. scope mounted to A-frame supports, 4 1/2-in. bronze dial engraved as above, opposing verniers, and single spirit level, four-screw adjustable base, housed in its original fitted box with paper labels, one reading in part "Pittsburgh Instrument & Marine Company."
