Large neo-classical cast iron garden urn or jardiniere with weathered patina, with ornamental scrolled leaf motif on flared rim above rounded body with flowers and acanthus leaf tips on a fluted shaft terminating on a circular foot with additional leaf tip motif on an integral square plinth marked "J. W. FISKE PAT'D MAY 12TH 1874", interior with six circular holes for drainage, detachable thick slightly tapered square plinth base cast with "J.W. FISKE N.Y." Overall approximately 27.5" x 26". Without detachable, tappered base approximate height 20.5".
