French, 19th century. Louis XIV style walnut wood framed armchair or fauteuil with tall rectangular back, back and trapezoidal seat upholstered in coral-pink fabric upholstery in a small quilted diamond pattern. Frame with carved scrolled arms, rests on cabriole front legs with foliate carving and central cartouches, terminating in scroll front feet, splayed back legs. Approximate height: 46.75", width 26" (across arms), depth 24.75", seat to floor 18.5". Provenance: From the Estate of Sam & Florence Inman, Atlanta, Georgia.
