Two Sporterized Military Muskets, c. early to mid-19th century, a U.S. Model 1855 with .69 bore barrel, walnut stock cut back, barrel lg. 33 in., and a U.S. Model 1817 with .58 caliber barrel, walnut stock cut back, barrel lg. 34 3/4 in. Estimate $200-300 1855 lock functions properly, the 1817 lock does not function. Items may have wear and tear, imperfections, or the effects of aging.
