American, Early 20th century. Victorian carved mahogany desk with three serpentine short pull out drawers with brass hardware pulls below shelf at back edge of top, serpentine front with hidden central pull out drawer supported on turned and carved legs with thick gadrooned rings above a cross stretcher shelf with incurvate front for accommodating sitter in front of writing desk. Overall supported on four large bun feet. Overall approximate height 35.75", width 47.75", depth 22.75".
