Matilda Browne (American, 1869-1947) Parrot on a Perch Signed and dated "Matilda Brown -1915" l. r. Watercolor and gouache on tan paper, sight size 11 3/4 x 9 5/8 in. (30.0 x 24.3 cm), framed. Condition: Scattered minor fox marks, not examined out of frame. Estimate $600-800 Frame dimensions: 21 x 18 1/8 x 3/4 in. With a brief biography of the artist affixed to the frame backing paper. Although the frame was not opened, one can see minor mat burn at the edges and some subtle handling creases. Items may have wear and tear, imperfections, or the effects of aging.
