Sino-Tibetan, likely 18th century. A silk or cotton thangka hand painted with pigment and silk depicting the Buddhist deity Ushnishavijaya seated in full lotus position within a mandala, the deity with three faces - left in yellow, center in flesh tone, and right in blue - each with three large eyes, the figure bearing eight arms holding various mudras and attributes; the mandala surrounded by five secondary Buddhas set within individual mandalas in a mountainous landscape. Approximately 62" x 48.75".
