Lenore Asbury (1866-1933) for Rookwood Pottery Floral Vase, Cincinnati, Ohio, 1906, glazed earthenware, impressed RP flame mark, date, shape, and artist's cipher, ht. 8 1/2, dia. 4 in. Note: Lenore Asbury was born in Cincinnati and attended the Cincinnati Art Academy. She worked at Rookwood from 1894 until 1931, in a wide range of glazes including Iris and Vellum.
