Charles S. Todd (1886-1950) for Rookwood Pottery Matte Glaze Vase, Cincinnati, Ohio, 1912, glazed earthenware, impressed signature, date, and number to underside, "Flame Mark/1660 D/CST," ht. 9, dia. 3 3/4 in. Note: Todd was born in Kentucky and attended the Cincinnati Art Academy. He decorated at Rookwood between 1910 and 1922. Todd is known for his organic and abstract designs that epitomize the Arts and Crafts movement. Estimate $300-500 Good condition. No visible damage or repairs.
