Three Gallé Cameo Art Glass Cabinet Vases, Nancy, France, c. 1900, an ovoid form decorated with anemones and grasses in purple and yellow on a satin ground, marked "Gallé," ht. 5 1/4; a conical form decorated with a berried branch in orange on a yellow satin ground, marked "Gallé," ht. 6 1/2; and a conical form decorated with flowering branch in purple on a satin ground, marked "Gallé," ht. 3 3/4 in. Note: Émile Gallé was a French artist and designer who worked in glass, and is considered to be one of the major innovators in the French Art Nouveau movement. Noted for designing art glass and furniture, he was a founder of the École de Nancy design movement.
