Provenance: Purchased by the consignor in 1990 from Peter Roberts Antiques, New York. Note: Featuring quadra-linear posts that allow the ray flake to appear on all four sides of the posts, rather than on just the typical two. To achieve this, four quartersawn boards are mitered together around a solid core to form the posts. Estimate $3,000-4,000 Age expected wear.
