English, circa 1900s. Edwardian satinwood open armchair finely painted in the Adam's taste, having an oval shaped floral painted back centered with pierced ribbon cresting over a pierced splat simulating three quivers or arrows centered with a painting of Cupid pulling back his bow over down-swept arm supports and a serpentine fronted and padded seat covered in sage and cream stripped upholstery over a conforming rail painted with floral bouquets, raised on front square tapered legs terminating on spade feet. Approximate height 40.3", width 20.3" (arm to arm), seat depth 17.25", seat height 18".
