Franco Rocco (20th Century), Scaccomatto, a Chess Set Sculpture Puzzle, c. 1970s, brass and chromed brass, signed and numbered "506/1000," 3 x 3 x 3 in., (some tarnish, brass pieces need polishing). Estimate $2,500-3,500 Condition is generally good. The pieces are solidly made and without any major imperfections. The brass cube pieces appear to need a good polishing. We haven't taken the chromed cube apart (it is complete), but might expect to find the same need for cleaning. Items may have wear and tear, imperfections, or the effects of aging.
