Two Wedgwood Gilded and Bronzed Black Basalt Vases and Covers, England, c. 1885, one with laurel festoons terminating at Bacchus heads below a vine border, ht. 7 1/4; and an urn on drum base with classical figure and fruiting festoons terminating at ram's heads, ht. 7 3/4 in.; impressed marks. Estimate $500-700 Laurel festoons: Cover heavily restored to finial and inner collar. Urn on drum: Small chip to top rim; two small patches discolored to footrim.
