Two Black Basalt Stella Fishtail Ewers, England, c. 1780, possibly non-factory, non-period, each modeled with scales to fish tail handles and top, mask below the spout and handle terminal, raised Wedgwood & Bentley lozenge marks. ht. 12 in. Estimate $200-400 One with restoration to end of fish tail and tip of spout. Also to bottom of ewer at join to socle. One with chip to foliage at end of tail.
