Five Wedgwood Rosso Antico Egyptian Vases, England, 19th century, three with black basalt relief, an engine-turned basketweave, ht. 8 3/4; a vase with sphinx handles, ht. 11 3/4; and one with leopard mask monopeds, ht. 8 1/2; with two having a black wash, each with fluting over a basketweave, ht. 6 7/8, 8 1/8 in.; impressed marks. Estimate $800-1,200 All missing covers. 8 3/4" basketweave: In very good condition. Sphinx vase: Smalls chips to wings of one bat; socle and plinth restored. 8 1/2" w/ leopard masks: Two slight nicks along top rim; 1/4" chip to footrim. 6 7/8" w/black wash: Restored rim chips and handles. 8 1/8" w/black wash: Restored handles.
