Two Wedgwood & Bentley Black Basalt Vases, England, c. 1775, a cassolette with vase top and candle holder, laurel and berry festoons in high relief, ht. 8 1/2, 9; and a vase with drapery swag border, ht. 9 7/8 in.; impressed marks. Estimate $500-700 Cassolette: Restored handles and to a 1 1/8" rim chip; nicks to plinth edges. Vase: Missing cover; restored handles; nicks to plinth edges.
