Wedgwood & Bentley Black Basalt Vase and Cover, England, c. 1775, scrolled foliate molded handles with palmette and meander borders above classical figures in relief to either side, impressed mark, ht. 13 1/4 in. Estimate $800-1,200 Chip at "tail" of one handle; plinth with numerous edge and corner nicks. Items may have wear and tear, imperfections, or the effects of aging.
