Three Wedgwood & Bentley Black Basalt Items, England, 18th century, an engine-turned and fluted cassolette and cover with upturned loop handles, meander border to plinth, ht. 6 3/4; oenochoe ewer with scrolled and leaf-molded handle terminating at a goat's head, oval shape body with foliate border above foliate festoons terminating at a satyr mask, ht. 9 3/4; and a covered vase with satyr mask and horn handles to an engine-turned body with drapery swag border, ht. 8 in.; impressed marks. Estimate $500-700 Casolette: Cover missing finial and candle nozzle; slight chips surrounding top rim. Oenochoe: Handle restored; slights nicks along edges of plinth. Vase: Finial broken off and simply restored; each of the horns with some restorations; several nicks along edges of plinth. Items may have wear and tear, imperfections, or the effects of aging.
