Wedgwood & Bentley Surface Agate Vase and Cover, England, c. 1770, gilded white terra-cotta scrolled handles and foliate festoons, set atop a square solid white jasper plinth, impressed mark, ht. 11 1/2 in. Estimate $700-900 Composition cover. One handle repaired; areas of gilding retouched; plinth with numerous edge chips. Items may have wear and tear, imperfections, or the effects of aging.
