Neale Solid Agate Vase and Cover, England, late 18th century, traces of gilding to scrolled bird-head handles, with classical and floret medallions within foliate festoons bordered with a band of arabesque flowers, mounted atop a black basalt plinth, impressed mark, ht. 13 1/4 in. Estimate $500-700 Restored finial; both handles and entire socle repaired (needs redoing). Small nicks along corners and edges of plinth.
