Two Similar Wedgwood & Bentley Agate Vases and Covers, England, c. 1780, gilding to scrolled handles and laurel and berry festoons, mounted atop a square black basalt plinth, ht. 11 1/4 in. Estimate $500-700 The bases are different. Each likely regilded. Covers: One composition; one restored to inner stem. Vases: One with repairs to one handle and socle; one to both handles.
