German, 15th century. A Medieval stained glass small rectangular panel depicting Saint Peter dressed in white robes holding a large golden key and emanating a golden halo, the figure set within a trefoil Gothic arch between Ionic columns and overlaid with a sanguine heart bearing crossed keys of Heaven, at base the panel inscribed "Sankt Petrus". Approximately 9.5" x 4.375". Provenance: From the Estate of Dr. Woody Cobbs and Mrs. Honor Cobbs, Atlanta, Georgia.
