Black-painted William and Mary Gate-leg Table, New England, early 18th century, the oval top with falling leaves, on a straight apron with drawer and eight block-, vase-, and ring-turned legs joined by stretchers, all on button feet, original surface, ht. 26 1/2, wd. 52 1/2, dp. 41 3/4 in. Estimate $2,500-3,500 The table has original surface as far as we can tell. The center section is White Pine. The leaves are Maple and two boards each, one is cracked. The hinges were replaced long ago. Items may have wear and tear, imperfections, or the effects of aging.
