Leather-covered and Tacked Cylindrical Trunk, James Boyd, Boston, early 19th century, the hinged lid with central brass owner's plaque "S Leach/Easton," maker's label on the underside, the interior lined in linen, (imperfections), ht. 10 1/2, approx. wd. 23 in. Note: The Boyd label identifies him as a saddler and harness maker working at No. 27 Merchant's Row. Estimate $300-500 Items may have wear and tear, imperfections, or the effects of aging.
