Apulian Red-figured Hydria, early to mid-4th century B. C., showing a young man and woman, ht. 10 7/8 in. Provenance: Gieringer Collection, Parke-Bernet Galleries, January 28, 1959. Estimate $1,500-2,500 Heavily restored to the side with the figures and with extensive in-painting; also restored surrounding the neck and to one handle at terminal.
