Federal Upholstered Inlaid Mahogany Easy Chair, probably New England, c. 1795-1805, with serpentine back and outward-scrolling arms on square string-inlaid tapering legs, ht. 44 1/2, seat ht. 18 in. Estimate $400-600 It has not been inspected under the upholstery, but it appears to be structurally sound, with no major repairs or replacements.
