Set of Four Carved Shield-back Side Chairs, Connecticut, early 19th century, the molded shields surrounding four carved spindles terminating at a floral-carved demilune, on trapezoidal slip seats and square tapering front legs, (restoration), ht. 38, seat ht. 17 1/2 in.
