Queen Anne Walnut Veneer and Maple High Chest of Drawers, Massachusetts, c. 1730-50, the molded cornice with drawer above a case of cockbeaded drawers with herringbone borders and matched walnut veneer panels, on cabriole legs ending in pad feet and joined by a cockbeaded skirt with acorn drop pendants, engraved brasses, refinished, (minor restoration to knee returns), ht. 68 3/4, wd. 38 1/2, dp. 21 in. Estimate $2,500-3,500 The brasses are replaced with correct reproductions. There are horizontal shrinkage cracks on the sides of the lower section which have been patched.
