Two Pieces of Slip-decorated Pearlware, England, early 19th century, a large barrel-form jug and a quart mug, both with black bands, wide blue bands, and "earthworm" decoration, applied handles with molded leaf terminals, jug ht. 8 in. Estimate $500-700 The jug has a repaired spout and there is evidence of a repaired break in the body; the mug has a crack that extends about 4 in. from the rim into the body.
