Cast Bronze Whaler Bookends, early 20th century, each with a bare-chested man standing at the bow of a whaleboat brandishing a harpoon, lettered "A Dead Whale or a Stove Boat," further lettered on the backs with a dedication to the whalemen of New Bedford, marked "J.
