Wedgwood Surface Agate Vase and Cover, England, c. 1780, traces of gilding to white terra-cotta lion mane and mask handles and foliate borders, set atop a square solid white jasper plinth, impressed mark, ht. 10 3/4 in. Estimate $1,000-2,000 Cover with horizontal firing line to inner collar. Vase: Sizable hairline to one side of the body; socle broken into several pieces and repaired.
