Pair of Wedgwood Black Basalt Roundels, England, early 19th century, each circular plaque molded in relief with depictions of maidens by an altar, impressed marks, dia. 10 1/2 in. set in modern giltwood frames. Estimate $1,000-2,000 One with a 1/2" surface flake to rim. no other evidence of any cracks, chips or restorations. Not examined out of frames.
