Framed Pair of Pastel on Board Portraits of a Man and Wife, 19th century, ht. 27 1/2, wd. 21 1/2 in. Estimate $300-500 woman is with a large horizontal tear to the base, scattered smaller tears throughout, and allover flakes and creases. The man is with scattered flakes, notably around the face, a puncture to the left of the head, and a pinhole to the base. Items may have wear and tear, imperfections, or the effects of aging.
