Ballinger" l.r., inscribed and signed "Painting Demonstration Late Afternoon H Ballinger" on the stretcher, titled "Late Afternoon" in ink on a printed label from The Ballinger Gallery, New Hartford, Connecticut, and Rockport, Massachusetts, affixed to the stretcher, and with the artist's printed biographical sheet also affixed to the stretcher.
