Attributed to George Savary Wasson (American, 1855-1926) Maine Seacoast. Unsigned, inscribed "G.S. WASSON" in a later hand on tape on the reverse, inscribed "Property of/S. Wheatland/..." on the back of the panel. Oil on canvas mounted to panel, 6 1/4 x 11 in., framed. Condition: Surface grime, drying cracks. Provenance: From the collection of Stephen Wheatland, thence by descent in the family. Estimate $400-600 Items may have wear and tear, imperfections, or the effects of aging.
