Condition: Alligatoring to the varnish layer, varnish discoloration, old retouch, craquelure. Provenance: The estate of George Way, Staten Island, New York. Estimate $200-400 Framed dimensions are 16 1/4 x 13 1/2 x 2 in. Although the work at first appears to be on panel, there is a flattened canvas weave texture visible in some areas of the composition.
