Cartier Onyx and 18kt Gold Open-face Watch and Box, c. 1920s, beveled-edge onyx case with screw-on gilt and black bezel, silvered roman numeral dial marked "Cartier," outer minute track and blued Breguet-style hands, interior of applied bezel engraved "19614," movement collar engraved "12705," with its original gilt-embossed leather case, and a 14kt gold chain, dia. 50 mm. Estimate $4,000-6,000 currently winding setting and ticking. Not able to access movement. pebbled-finished dial in very good condition with some soft staining around hand arbor.
