Early Jaeger Stainless Steel Chronograph Wristwatch, c. 1940, snap-on bezel, original silver-colored dial, with multicolored tele- and tachometer graduation scales, 45-minute register at 3 and constant seconds at 9, blued-steel hands, manual-wind caliber 281 column-wheel chronograph movement marked "Jaeger" on the bridge, snap-back case no. 50475, 32 mm. Note: The caliber 281 was originally created by Universal Geneve. Estimate $800-1,200 original dial with vibrant colored scales has some staining, hands appear to be original.
