German . 800 Silver Oil Menorah, with eight crowned lions and an elaborate backing, on footed base, ht. 11 1/2, wd. 14 1/2 in., 53.7 troy oz. Estimate $1,000-1,500 This piece does not have a date mark. Based off of the hallmark and construction style of the menorah, I would date this to begining of the 20th century, probably around 1910/1920. In overall good condition. There is a possible resoldering to one of the lamps at the back. There is quite a bit of oil residue left over and the whole piece could use a good cleaning.
