Swiss, 19th century. An ovular painted and stained glass window depicting various male figures in a pub, three seated and crouched around a tavern table with pipes, one behind resting his head drunkenly against a wall with another standing and looking on, and one man exiting through an open door at right holding a tankard, the decorated tondo surrounded by amber colored arched glass bands. Approximate height 13.5", width 10.5". Provenance: acquired by the Estate of Dr. Woody Cobbs and Mrs. Honor Cobbs, Atlanta, Georgia from The Monastery Stained Glass, Northamptonshire, England, in a private sale on June 29, 2003.
