Export Famille Rose Bowl, China, 18th/19th century, resting on a raised straight foot, decorated with landscapes and figures in panels against a patterned ground on the exterior, the interior with a band of gilt pattern below the mouth rim and a floral spray in the well, ht. 1 1/2, dia. 5 1/2 in. Provenance: Mary Andrews Wolff Collection; then by descent to the present owner. Estimate $500-700 minor pockmarks, bumps, surface stain, and clay impurities, particularly to the white interior.
