Two Copper/Brass Gau Amulet Boxes, Sino-Tibet, 19th/20th century, with onion-domed top, rounded shoulder, and straight sides, the gilt front decorated in relief with the Eight Buddhist Treasures, strap handles to sides, ht. to 7 in. Provenance: A private collection acquired some time ago from several New England galleries. Estimate $500-700 multiple dents, rusting, metal corrosions to metal sheets.
