Five Woodblock Prints, Japan, two by Tsukioka Yoshitoshi (1839-1892), Refined: the appearance of the court lady during the Kyowa era and Enjoying herself: The appearance of a teacher of the Kaei era, both from the series Thirty-two Aspects of Customs and Manners, publisher Tsunashima Kamekichi; Utagawa Hiroshige (1797-1858), Yamabushi, No. 46 from the series Famous Views of the Sixty-odd Provinces, publisher Koshimuraya Heisuke; a joint work by Utagawa Hiroshige and Kunisada (Toyokuni III, 1786-1865), from the series Famous Restaurants of the Eastern Capital, publisher Fujiokaya Keijiro (Shorindo); and Mizuno Toshikata (1866-1908), one from the series Thirty-six Elegant Selections, publisher possibly Akiyama Buemon, all oban tate-e, framed and glazed. Estimate $400-600 not examined out of frame, overall in good condition with minor toning, Hiroshige with creases to the bottom left corner.
