School of Paolo Veronese (Italian, 1528-1588) St. Justina of Padua Unsigned, artist identified as Veronese on a presentation plaque. Oil on canvas, 33 1/8 x 26 1/4 in. (84.2 x 66.6 cm), framed. Condition: Lined, retouch, stable craquelure. Estimate $1,000-1,500 Framed dimensions are 44 x 37 x 2 in. The surface is coated in glossy varnish. There is a small surface loss to the u.r. corner, which is under the varnish layer. Professionally restored with prominent retouch visible under UV along the top of the canvas and also through the middle. Please see black light photos. Areas of thin pigment and skinning.
