Condition: Retouch, craquelure, mounted to heavy pressed paperboard. Provenance: A private Western Massachusetts collection. Estimate $500-700 Framed dimensions are 25 1/2 x 21 x 1 1/4 inches. The unusual right edge of this work may result from the attempted restoration of an older work whose right side was beyond saving. When the canvas was laid down on paperboard, the missing side was roughly sketched in by the restorer. Items may have wear and tear, imperfections, or the effects of aging.
