Walter Franklin Lansil (American, 1846-1933) Dory with Lobster Pot Signed and dated "Walter F. Lansil 1899" l.l., identified on a presentation plaque. Oil on canvas, 12 x 18 in. (30.4 x 45.7 cm), framed. Condition: Lined, scattered retouch, minor craquelure. Estimate $500-700 The lining is adhered with wax and there seems to be a solid support between the original and new canvases. The retouch is confined primarily to the sky. The frame measures 20 x 26 x 3 in. Items may have wear and tear, imperfections, or the effects of aging.
